I have a passion for creating things! I am a self-taught fluid artist who specializes in pouring resin and acrylics. I’ve also recently started working with wood, creating my own homemade charcuterie boards and trays. Black Walnut is my favourite wood to work with! While I have no formal art training, I enjoy learning new processes and techniques as I go – it’s what makes the journey more fun!
I started my career off as a Project Coordinator in the print industry and while I enjoy the order and planning of that role, I found myself feeling stifled in an office environment. I needed a way to relax, unwind and let go of the control I had over my day job. I needed an outlet to let go of the stresses of the day — and I was able to find that in fluid art! While it does take a certain level of skill and finesse to pour paint well on canvas – there is also a great lack of control over the results. And I loved that. Whatever magical creation that came out that day, was meant to be! It was something in my soul that needed to come out. And thus began the idea of Go with the Flow – Fluid Art Studio!
